drawing.
ive forgotten how much i love it oh so much.

once again, this was done to turn in for a sketch book grade for class.
it was due on friday, and thursday i still didnt have anything, so i went on here, browsed the stock gallery, and found a pic by ~Dan14Stock and loved it. i cropped it and printed it and started drawing at 8:20 or so... then drew for a straight 4.5 hours with a snack and bathroom break. and i finished at 1. in the morning.
and my teacher adores it.
and im happy.
im just a little confused as to why she likes this one when all last year she was telling me to do original work....
(i like how it looks like a little boy)

This is truly impressive. I'd be jealous of your attention to detail and incredible use of canvas texture to simulate real texture, except...I've never studied art for more than a week in my life.

So it's a compliment on your untouchable skill.

i LOVE pencil drawings! they are absolutely gorgeous.

you could have defined the lips a little more and given the ears more detail, but other than that its wonderful!

awesome blending...how do you do it? whenever i smuge it, it just looks so...flat? i dunno.

i love the eyebrow..and lashes...bwahh its SO GORGEOUS!

on the blending, there is none. its all just pencil ove pencil. thats why it took me so long. i didnt smudge any of it.
it takes lots of work and concentration and mostly PATIENCE. but you get such an awesome result.
(thats what my teacher was teaching the drawing class at the time that my independant study was during, id never tried a picture like that, so i decided i would)
the eyebrow is one of my fav parts too

Very nice work. :clap: I'd say this qualifies as original; it's not like you directly copied a composition, and the drawing itself is your own. This is really something to be proud of ^_^
